Child safety standards
Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation
Gen is only for adults (18+). We do not allow child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) of any kind, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sexualising minors, sextortion, or trafficking. This is part of our Terms of Use (section 7), which every user agrees to.
How we prevent it
- Adults only. Everyone confirms a date of birth of 18 or older at sign-up, and each account is tied to a verified phone number, one account per number.
- Automated review. Photos are checked for sexual content before they appear, and the text of meetups, posts and asks is reviewed by an automated system and a word filter before it is published.
- Human moderation. Reports go to our moderation team, who act within 24 hours and sooner for child safety.
How to report
- In the app: open the person's profile or chat, tap 举报 (Report), and choose “未成年人 / 儿童安全” (A minor / child safety). Reports are anonymous.
- By email: support@genapp.ca, subject “Child safety report”.
- If a child is in immediate danger, call 911 or your local emergency number.
What we do
- We remove the content and permanently ban the account; a banned phone number can never sign up again.
- We preserve the relevant information and report CSAM and child exploitation to the authorities: in Canada to Cybertip.ca and the police, and in the United States to the NCMEC CyberTipline, as the law requires.
- We cooperate with law enforcement requests that relate to child safety.

对儿童性剥削零容忍
Gen 只面向成年人（18 岁以上）。我们禁止任何形式的儿童性虐待和性剥削（CSAE），包括儿童性虐待内容（CSAM）、诱骗、将未成年人性化、性勒索和人口贩卖。这写在每个用户都同意的用户协议第 7 条里。
我们怎么预防
- 仅限成年人。注册时要确认已满 18 岁，每个账号都要验证手机号，一个号码只能有一个账号。
- 自动审核。照片在显示前会检测色情内容；局、动态和找搭子的文字发布前会经过自动审核和敏感词过滤。
- 人工审核。举报会交给我们的审核团队，24 小时内处理，儿童安全的举报优先处理。
怎么举报
- 在 App 里：打开对方的资料卡或聊天，点「举报」，选择「未成年人 / 儿童安全」。举报是匿名的。
- 发邮件：support@genapp.ca，标题写「儿童安全举报」。
- 如果有儿童正处于危险中，请直接拨打 911 或当地的紧急电话。
我们会怎么处理
- 删除相关内容并永久封号，被封的手机号永远不能再注册。
- 保留相关信息，并依法向有关部门报告 CSAM 和儿童剥削：加拿大报告给 Cybertip.ca 和警方，美国报告给 NCMEC CyberTipline。
- 配合执法部门与儿童安全相关的调查。
